They are also used to craft consumables.
You can make a lot of money gathering materials and making consets.

All of these items in the first chart are made by spending skill points and money. "consets" is short for "consumable set" and are 3 items, the armor of salvation, grial of might, and essecence of clarity which people use all at once for a group of powerful buffs. Edit: Those 3 items can be made only in The Eye of the North game, though you can use/buy them (just like any item) if you don't have it. Thus some people who don't have access to Eye of the North or don't have the titles/crafting items/skill points needed will buy Consets from other people. It's not really a great money maker, but its okay. Last edited by HawkofStorms; Jul 15, 2009 at 02:07 AM // 02:07.. |

Due to all of the speedclears out there, consets make clearing go by much more quickly and easily, making consets quite valuable. When you farm the materials yourself, as they are generally sort of expensive, you can make a full conset pretty cheap, and make a good profit by selling.

Well, in a way, it does increase your damage, because it raises your attributes by one. Damage over time would be increased too, because of reduced recharge times.
